7. Spoon the beef mixture over the eggplant slices in the baking dish.

8. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and chopped parsley over the top of the beef mixture.

9. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the eggplant is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

10. Let the mousakka cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
