The Best Chicken Salad You’ll Ever Make
This Chicken Salad is a perfect blend of tender chicken, crunchy vegetables, and a creamy dressing, making it a delicious and versatile dish. Whether served on its own, in a sandwich, or over greens, it’s a crowd-pleaser for any occasion.
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 celery stalk, diced
1/2 red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup dried cranberries or grapes, halved
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or almonds
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
Add the shredded chicken, celery, red onion, cranberries (or grapes), nuts, and parsley to the bowl. Stir until everything is evenly coated in the dressing.
Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or lemon juice as needed.
Chill the chicken salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
