Here’s a delicious recipe for spinach stuffed chicken breast!
### Ingredients:
– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
– 1 cup cream cheese, softened
– 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Olive oil (for cooking)
– Optional: Italian seasoning or herbs of your choice
### Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3. Prepare the Chicken: Take each chicken breast and make a pocket by slicing it horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through.
4. Stuff the Chicken: Spoon the spinach mixture into each chicken breast pocket, dividing the filling evenly among them. You can secure the openings with toothpicks if needed.
5. Sear the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the stuffed chicken breasts and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
6. Bake the Chicken: Transfer the seared chicken breasts to a baking dish. If you like, you can sprinkle Italian seasoning or herbs on top for extra flavor. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
