Garlic Chicken Lo Mein Recipe
Ingredients:
8 oz lo mein noodles
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced thinly
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup bell peppers, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup snap peas
3 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Sesame seeds for garnish
Directions:
Begin by cooking the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
Add the bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry the vegetables for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and ground black pepper. Pour this sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring to combine.
Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together until the noodles are heated through and well coated with the sauce.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
