These Tortilla Wraps with Ground Beef are quick, flavorful, and endlessly customizable. Juicy, seasoned ground beef is wrapped in warm tortillas and topped with fresh veggies, cheese, and sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners, lunch boxes, or party wraps.

Ingredients (Serves 4 – makes 6–8 wraps)

Beef Filling

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1½ tbsp taco seasoning (or see homemade below)

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • ¼ cup water or beef broth

Wraps & Toppings

  • 6–8 flour tortillas (medium)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1 tomato, diced

  • ½ cup sliced bell peppers (optional)

  • Sour cream, mayo, or yogurt sauce

  • Salsa or hot sauce (optional)

Optional Homemade Taco Seasoning:
Paprika, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Beef

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add onion and cook 2–3 minutes until soft. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

Step 2: Season

Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
Stir in taco seasoning, salt, pepper, and water. Simmer 3–5 minutes until thick.

Step 3: Warm Tortillas

Heat tortillas in a dry pan or microwave until soft and pliable.

Step 4: Assemble Wraps

Spoon beef mixture down the center of each tortilla.
Top with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and sauce.

Step 5: Roll & Serve

Fold in sides and roll tightly. Serve warm or lightly grill for a crispy finish.

Tips for Best Wraps

  • Don’t overfill—wraps roll better when modestly filled.

  • Warm tortillas to prevent cracking.

  • Drain excess grease from beef if needed.

  • Toast wrapped tortillas for extra crunch.
