Cheesy Chicken with Linguine Pasta
Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley for garnish
For the Pasta:
8 oz linguine pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and almost cooked through. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter, then add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
Add the heavy cream and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens. Add the mozzarella cheese and mix until smooth.
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken. Top each piece of chicken with a bit more mozzarella cheese and transfer to the oven.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F or 75°C) and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
