Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, minced
  • 2-3 green chilies, slit (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce (like Sriracha)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cauliflower:
    • Rinse the cauliflower florets under cold water and let them dry.
  2. Heat the Oil:
    • In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Sauté Aromatics:
    • Add the minced garlic, ginger, and green chilies to the pan. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add Cauliflower:
    • Add the cauliflower florets to the pan and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until they start to become tender but still have a bit of crunch.
  5. Season the Cauliflower:
    • Pour in the soy sauce, chili sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and salt. Stir well to coat the cauliflower evenly.
  6. Cook Further:
    • Continue to stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the cauliflower is cooked through and well-coated with the sauce.
  7. Garnish and Serve:
    • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
