How To Make Cottage Cheese Bowl
- Blend the cottage cheese to make it smooth. This step is especially important if you aren’t crazy about the curds in cottage cheese. Without the lumps, cottage cheese tastes very similar to ricotta cheese. I use it all the time in my lasagna.
- Mix in a egg and the seasonings with the cottage cheese.
- Layer the cottage cheese. sauce, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese in a baking dish. Add the toppings.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or however long it takes to get hot all the way through.

Instead of baking in a baking dish, assemble this recipe in ramekins for individual portions. What’s great about this is you don’t have to bake them all right away. Cover with plastic wrap and you have a meal that’s ready to go later in the week. Great for meal prep.

I like to top mine with pepperoni slices and black olives but you can literally use any pizza toppings. Sauteed onions, mushrooms, bell pepper are all great choices.

Ingredients
- 24 ounces cottage cheese
- 1 large egg
- salt and pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1¼ cups sugar-free marinara sauce
- ⅓ cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20 to 25 pepperoni slices
- 2 tablespoons sliced black olives
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Place cottage cheese and egg in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Stir in a few pinches of salt, about ¼ teaspoon black pepper, the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes.

Transfer to prepared baking dish. Spread marinara sauce on top.

Sprinkle on Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese.
Evenly arrange pepperoni slices and black olives on top.
