Crispy Fried Brie with Pepper Honey, Warm Lemon-Herb Olives
Ingredients:
Fried Brie:
8 oz brie cheese, cut into wedges
(225 g)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
(60 g)
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 cup breadcrumbs or panko
(40 g)
Vegetable oil, for frying
Pepper Honey:
1/4 cup honey
(60 ml)
1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper
(1 g)
Lemon-Herb Olives:
1 cup mixed olives
(150 g)
1 tablespoon olive oil
(15 ml)
1 teaspoon lemon zest
(2 g)
1 teaspoon chopped fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary)

Directions:
Coat brie in flour, egg, then breadcrumbs and chill 15 minutes.
Fry brie in hot oil until golden, about 1 minute per side.
Warm honey with crushed pepper.
Toss olives with olive oil, lemon zest, and herbs and warm briefly.
Serve brie drizzled with pepper honey and olives on the side.
