Creamy Chicken Penne with Italian Blend Cheese









Tender chicken and penne pasta smothered in a rich, creamy sauce loaded with Italian blend cheese—melty, cheesy, and totally irresistible. A classic comfort dish that’s quick and easy for weeknight dinners! 



Ingredients:
12 oz penne pasta
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded Italian blend cheese (mozzarella, provolone, Parmesan, Asiago mix)
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Stir in Italian blend cheese until melted and smooth.
Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly with the creamy cheese sauce.
Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
