Pineapple Upside-Down Cake 🍍🍒 Protein 12g

A classic, moist cake topped with caramelized pineapple rings and bright cherries—sweet, buttery, and beautifully glossy with a rich tropical flavor.

📝 Ingredients:
✦ 1 can pineapple rings (reserve juice)
✦ Maraschino cherries
✦ 100g butter
✦ 120g brown sugar

✦ 150g all-purpose flour
✦ 120g sugar
✦ 2 eggs
✦ 100ml pineapple juice (from can)
✦ 80ml milk
✦ 1 tsp vanilla extract
✦ 1 tsp baking powder
✦ 1/2 tsp salt

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1️⃣- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

2️⃣- Melt butter in a baking pan and sprinkle brown sugar evenly over it.

3️⃣- Arrange pineapple rings on top and place cherries in the centers.

4️⃣- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

5️⃣- In another bowl, whisk sugar, eggs, milk, pineapple juice, and vanilla.

6️⃣- Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.

7️⃣- Pour batter over pineapple layer.

8️⃣- Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and set.

9️⃣- Let cool for 10 minutes, then carefully invert onto a plate.
