BACON WRAPPED SMOKIES WITH BROWN SUGAR AND BUTTER
Ingredients:
• 1 lb bacon, cut into thirds
• 1 lb Lil’ Smokies (small sausages)
• 1 stick (1/2 cup / 113 g) butter
• 2 cups (400 g) brown sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Wrap each smokie with a piece of bacon and place them in a single layer in a baking dish.
Melt the butter and mix it with 1 cup (200 g) brown sugar until combined.
Pour the butter–brown sugar mixture evenly over the wrapped smokies.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup (200 g) brown sugar on top.
Bake 15–20 minutes, then increase heat to 400°F (205°C) and bake 5 more minutes until bacon is crisp.

Tips:
For neater bites, secure each bacon wrap with a toothpick before baking—just remove before serving if preferred.
