This Broccoli Cranberry Salad with Greek Yogurt is a lighter, healthier twist on the classic creamy broccoli salad. Crunchy fresh broccoli, sweet dried cranberries, and optional nuts are tossed in a tangy Greek yogurt dressing. It’s fresh, satisfying, and perfect for meal prep, potlucks, or holiday tables.

Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

Salad

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets, finely chopped

  • ⅓ cup dried cranberries

  • ¼ cup red onion, finely diced

  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds or chopped almonds (optional)

  • ¼ cup shredded carrot (optional)

Greek Yogurt Dressing

  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1½ tbsp honey or maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Broccoli

Wash broccoli and chop into small, bite-sized florets for best texture.

Step 2: Make Dressing

In a bowl, whisk Greek yogurt, honey, vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Step 3: Assemble Salad

In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cranberries, red onion, seeds, and carrot.

Step 4: Toss & Chill

Pour dressing over salad and toss well. Chill 20–30 minutes before serving.

Tips for Best Flavor

  • Chop broccoli small so it absorbs dressing better.

  • Chill before serving to soften broccoli slightly.

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for creamier texture.
