Cabbage Fritters Recipe
These Cabbage Fritters are a quick and delicious snack that can be prepared in just 10 minutes. Here’s a simple recipe to make them.
Ingredients
2 cups raw cabbage, finely shredded
1 medium carrot, grated
2 large eggs
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt (to taste)
¼ teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
3 tablespoons oil (for frying)
Optional: Chopped green onions or herbs for added flavor
Instructions
Prepare the Cabbage and Carrot:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrot. If desired, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and let it sit for a few minutes to draw out moisture.
Make the Batter:
Add the eggs, flour, minced garlic (if using), baking powder, salt, and pepper to the cabbage and carrot mixture. Stir until well combined. The mixture should be thick enough to hold together.
Heat the Oil:

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat until hot.
Fry the Fritters:
Using a spoon or your hands, scoop about 2 tablespoons of the batter into the hot skillet for each fritter. Flatten them slightly with the back of the spoon.

Drain Excess Oil:
