Ingredients
- For the Cinnamon Roll Layers
- 2 cans 12–13 oz each refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
- 2 tbsp melted butter for brushing
- For the Apple Filling
- 4 cups peeled diced apples about 4 medium apples; Honeycrisp or Gala work well
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- For the Creamy Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- The icing packets from both cinnamon roll cans
- For the Topping
- 1/3 cup thick caramel sauce
- Optional: extra cinnamon chopped pecans
Instructions

Prepare the Cinnamon Roll Base

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.

Open the cinnamon rolls and set aside the icing packets.

Flatten each cinnamon roll with your hands and press them into the bottom of the dish, slightly overlapping, to create a crust.

Brush with 2 tbsp melted butter.

Cook the Apple Filling

In a large skillet, melt 3 tbsp butter over medium heat.

Add diced apples, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt.

Cook for 5–6 minutes until apples soften.

Mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp water to form a slurry; pour into apples.

Cook 1–2 minutes until thick and glossy.

Remove from heat and stir in 1 tsp vanilla.

Let cool slightly.

Make the Cream Layer

Beat cream cheese until smooth.

Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix well.
