Chicken Marinade

1½ lb (700 g) boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon cumin

Tzatziki Sauce

1 cup Greek yogurt
-
½ cucumber, grated & squeezed dry

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt to taste

1 tablespoon fresh dill or parsley, chopped
For Serving

Instructions

Marinate chicken
Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Toss chicken in marinade and rest 30 minutes–2 hours. -
Cook chicken
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5–7 minutes, stirring, until golden and cooked through. -
Make tzatziki
Combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt, and herbs. Chill until ready to use. -
Warm bread
Warm pita or flatbreads in a dry pan or oven. -
Assemble gyros
Fill pita with chicken, veggies, drizzle tzatziki, and sprinkle feta if using.
