Creamy Seafood Spinach Dip: A Crowd-Pleasing Appetizer
Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream
1 cup cooked shrimp (chopped)
1 cup lump crab meat
1 cup fresh spinach (chopped)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Lemon wedges and fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
Prepare the Dip Base:
In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
Add the Seafood and Spinach:
Fold in the chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, and fresh spinach.
Stir in half of the mozzarella cheese and all of the Parmesan cheese.
Assemble and Bake:
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with crackers, tortilla chips, or crusty bread.
Add lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of freshness.
