Dirty Rice with Ground Beef Delight!

This Dirty Rice with Ground Beef is packed with savory goodness and aromatic spices. 

Ingredients:
– 1 lb ground beef 
– 1 medium onion, chopped 
– 1 green bell pepper, chopped 
– 2 celery ribs, chopped 
– 3 cloves garlic, minced 
– 1 cup long-grain rice 
– 2 cups chicken broth 
– 1/2 cup chicken livers, chopped (optional) 
– 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning 
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme 
– 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for spice) 
– Salt and pepper to taste 
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) 
Instructions:
1. Brown the Ground Beef! 
:
– Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
– Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
– Drain any excess grease.
2. Sauté Vegetables! 



:
– Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and celery to the skillet.
– Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes.
– Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add Chicken Livers (Optional)! 
:
– If using, add the chopped chicken livers and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
4. Add Rice & Seasonings! 



:
– Add the rice, chicken broth, Creole seasoning, thyme, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper to the skillet.
– Stir to combine.
5. Simmer the Rice! 
:
– Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
6. Fluff & Serve! 



:
– Fluff the rice with a fork.
– Garnish with fresh parsley.
– Serve hot!
