🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 700g–1kg beef (chuck, stew meat, or any affordable cut)
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 can (300–400g) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup water or beef broth

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat to 160°C (320°F)

2. Assemble

  • Place beef in a baking dish or casserole
  • Sprinkle onion soup mix evenly over the meat
  • Spread cream of mushroom soup on top
  • Pour in water or broth

3. Mix Lightly

  • Gently stir just enough to combine sauce ingredients (don’t fully submerge all beef—some browning is nice)

4. Bake Slow & Low

  • Cover with foil
  • Bake for 2.5–3 hours until beef is tender and easily shredded
