🌮 Easy Chicken Taco Wonton Cups
Ingredients
24 wonton wrappers
1 lb ground chicken
1 packet taco seasoning
1 tbsp olive oil
½ cup diced bell pepper
¼ cup diced onion
1 cup shredded Mexican cheese
½ cup diced tomatoes
½ cup shredded lettuce
Fresh cilantro (optional)
Simple Avocado Sauce (optional)
1 avocado
2 tbp sour cream or Greek yogurt
1 tbsp lime juice
Pinch salt
Instructions
Heat oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Make wonton cups
Press wonton wrappers into a muffin tin to form cups.
Bake 8 minutes until lightly crispy.
Cook chicken
In a pan, heat olive oil and cook ground chicken until done.
Add seasoning & veggies
Stir in taco seasoning, bell pepper, and onion. Cook 3–4 minutes.
Fill cups
Spoon the chicken mixture into the baked wonton cups.
Add cheese
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake again
Bake 5 minutes until cheese melts.
Add toppings
Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, and avocado sauce.
🥑 Quick Avocado Sauce
Mash avocado with sour cream, lime juice, and salt until smooth.
