Healing Herbal Detox Tea
Ingredients (Makes 1 serving):
1 cup hot water (not boiling, around 80–90°C)
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
1 clove fresh garlic, crushed
1 tsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 tsp raw honey (optional)
1/2 tsp instant coffee or green tea leaves
1/4 tsp turmeric (optional but recommended for anti-inflammatory benefit)
A few mint leaves or green tea leaves (optional for taste)
Directions:
Boil water and let it cool slightly (do not pour boiling water directly over delicate ingredients).
Add grated ginger, crushed garlic, and turmeric (if using) into the cup.
Let steep for 5–7 minutes.
Add lemon juice, raw honey, and instant coffee or green tea. Stir well.
Strain into a mug and enjoy warm, preferably 30 minutes before bed.
