Recipe for 2 servings
Chicken Seasoning
2 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
Alfredo Sauce
2/3 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup water
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp salt
Broccoli
1 lb bite size broccoli pieces, frozen or fresh
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Garnish
3 bacon strips
3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
🥣Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat cook your bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and use the bacon grease to cook your chicken.
2. Preheat your over to 375F.
3. For the chicken, add paprika, thyme, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Mix it until the chicken breasts are evenly coated. Then place it in the pan with the bacon fat to cook on medium heat until fully cooked through.
4. While the chicken is cooking add your broccoli to a parchment paper prepared baking sheet. Season with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Place in your preheated oven for 15 minutes (25 if you’re using frozen broccoli).
5. Once the chicken is cooked, grab a small sauce pan. Place over medium heat and bring the heavy cream and water to a light simmer. Then add butter and mix until is fully incorporated. Add parmesan cheese, salt, and thyme. Mix until all is incorporated and bring to a boil while occasionally mixing until thickened.
6. Assemble your plate with a bed of broccoli topped with chicken breast. Pour the sauce right over everything and garnish with crispy bacon and fresh parsley. Enjoy!
