Rustic Smoky Chicken in Creamy Garlic Paprika Sauce with Jasmine Rice & Probiotic Twist
Ingredients:
2 large chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp chili flakes
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cups fresh spinach
1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
Creamy Sauce:
1 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp white miso paste
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
For Serving:
2 cups cooked jasmine rice
1/2 cup plain yogurt
Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Directions:
Cook jasmine rice according to package instructions and set aside, keeping it warm.
Season chicken pieces with smoked paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant, then add roasted red peppers and sun-dried tomatoes.
Pour in heavy cream, then stir in paprika, miso paste, onion powder, and garlic powder. Let simmer gently for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add spinach and cook until wilted. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat well in the creamy sauce.
Assemble bowls with jasmine rice, top with creamy chicken mixture, and finish with a dollop of yogurt. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
