Ingredients
4 Thick-cut, bone-in pork chops
½ cup Honey
¼ cup Soy sauce
6 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp Onion powder
Sprigs of fresh thyme and rosemary
Fresh lemon or orange zest (for garnish)
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions
Sear the Chops: Season the pork chops generously on all sides with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chops for 2–3 minutes per side until beautifully browned.
Arrange: Place the seared pork chops into the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Pour the glaze evenly over the pork chops. Top each chop with a couple of fresh thyme and rosemary sprigs.
Slow Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours (or HIGH for 2 to 3 hours) until the pork is tender and cooked through.
Thicken & Serve: Remove the chops. If you want a stickier glaze, transfer the remaining liquid to a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes until thickened. Plate the pork chops, spoon the sticky glaze over the top, and garnish with fresh herbs and citrus zest.
