Tomato Spinach Ravioli Bake
Ingredients
Ravioli: 1 package (approx. 25 oz) fresh or frozen cheese or spinach ravioli
Sauce: 1 jar (24–25 oz) marinara or spaghetti sauce
Vegetables: 2 cups fresh baby spinach + fresh sliced tomatoes (optional)
Cheese: 1–2 cups shredded mozzarella + ½ cup grated Parmesan
Optional: 1 cup ricotta cheese, 1 clove garlic (minced), and 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
Prep: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with oil or spray.
Base Layer: Spread a thin layer of sauce (about ½ cup) on the bottom. Arrange half of the ravioli in a single layer.
Build: Layer on half of the spinach, half of the remaining sauce, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan.
Repeat: Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, spinach, sauce, and cheeses.
Bake: Cover tightly with foil. Bake for 20 minutes (fresh) or 25–30 minutes (frozen).
Brown: Remove foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley or basil before slicing.
