This dip goes viral because it’s creamy, spicy, no-fuss, and endlessly customizable — and it takes less than 10 minutes to make.


Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, cut into cubes

  • 1 can (10 oz / 283 g) Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies (undrained)

  • Optional add-ins (pick any):
    • ½–¾ lb cooked ground beef, sausage, or chorizo
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend
    • ¼ cup jalapeños (sliced)
    • 2 tbsp green onions (chopped)
    • 1 tsp taco seasoning


Instructions

  1. Heat Base
    In a medium saucepan or skillet over low heat, add cubed cream cheese.

  2. Add Rotel
    Pour in Rotel tomatoes with green chilies.

  3. Stir Together
    Stir constantly until cream cheese melts into a smooth, creamy sauce.

  4. Optional Boost
    Stir in taco seasoning, cooked meat, and/or shredded cheese until melted.

  5. Finish
    Remove from heat once fully combined and silky smooth.

  6. Serve
    Top with jalapeños, green onions, or extra cheese. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or cut veggies.
