It’s by having keto coffee.
What is keto coffee?
Keto coffee is low-carb and contains lots of high-quality fats. The idea behind drinking this type of coffee is to fill you up for several hours, and it truly works.
Usually keto coffee consists of 3 basic ingredients such as coffee, butter and MCT oil. But, there are many different keto diet fat burning drinks at Starbucks to lose weight to choose from.
Most people blend their keto coffee drinks so that the oil and butter becomes rich, creamy, silky and smooth. To tell you the truth, you may even enjoy this more than your regular coffee routine.
Instead of having carb-rich milk, creamer or sugar, you’re adding beneficial fats and vitamin-rich oils. Choose your favorite keto diet fat burning drinks at Starbucks to lose weight today.
You most likely already have low carb coffee creamers in your kitchen.
Keto friendly creamers for your coffee would be:
- Coconut oil is high in fat and low in carb, so if you are trying to avoid any dairy in your diet, this is must-have.
- MCT oil is full of fatty acids that are found naturally occurring in coconut and palm oils. They provide immediate energy boost, but do not raise blood sugar levels or increase insulin within the body.
- Ghee is clarified butter and needs to be cooked a bit longer to achieve the deep golden color and rich nutty flavor.
- Grass-Fed Butter has around 12% to 15% MCTs that are more easily digestible, which translate into your energy source.
- Heavy cream is a good substitute for any drink at Starbucks that contains milk.
- Heavy whipping cream contains high-fat with low sugar content, perfect for the Ketogenic choice.
So, what is the difference between bulletproof and keto coffee?
Bulletproof coffee uses a strict combination of MCT oil and ghee or butter, whereas a variety of other types of oils are used to make keto coffee.
Keto coffee is more flexible and you can customize your own morning coffee routine with your favorite healthy and natural oils.
I’m sure you have seen a lot of Pinterest and Instagram recently featuring Bulletproof Coffee. Sounds like these two coffee styles are very similar.
Why you should try keto coffee?
There are 7 health benefit that you don’t want to miss.
1. Helps with weight loss
When properly combined with the ketosis diet, keto coffee can help individuals lose large amounts of weight in a short amount of time.
2. High in healthy fats
Everyone is so scared of fats. But keto coffee uses healthy fats, which are from grass-fed butter and other types of oils that contain very high levels of omega-3 and 6 fatty acids. Healthy fats help to prevent cardiovascular diseases and diabetes.
3. Keep your brain healthy
Bioflavonoids in coffee help to protect the brain from aging. Coffee also improves brain neuron speed, allowing you to communicate faster and clearer. This may slow onset diseases such as dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Keto coffee reduces anxiety, improve mood and keeps your brain actively healthy.
4. Boost energy
Most regular coffee is full of added sugar and cream, and doesn’t really give any nutrient boost. Instead keto coffee is high in fat and provides nutritious calories to keep you moving throughout the day.
5. Great taste with zero sugar
Keto coffee doesn’t contain any excess sugar. Sugar generally turns into fat once inside the body and creates accelerated weight gain. The fat provides a nutty and fulfilling taste.
6. Doesn’t give you the jitters
By remaining in a state of ketosis, your body reduces the risk of falling into an energy crash. The key to success is burning longterm fats and staying in ketosis.
7. Keep you feeling full for longer time period
When your body is in a state of ketosis, fat will help you maintain a feeling of being full. There is a lot of science involved, but hunger suppression is the number one goal for starting your day with a bullet proof coffee.

Promise you be in pink drink heaven!
Ombre Pink Drink with Coconut Milk
Made with Teavana Shaken Iced Passionfruit Tea blended with coconut milk. Passionfruit tea itself has zero calories, and is full of vitamins and antioxidants.
I always ask for half water and half unsweetened coconut milk, because coconut does have natural sugars.
Violet Drink with Creamy Coconut Milk

Made with Very Berry Hibiscus Starbucks Refreshers and creamy coconut milk blended with ice. Ask for half serving of unsweetened coconut milk and add extra ice for a refreshing drink on a hot day.
Sweet blackberries and tart hibiscus makes it violet color and also it’s totally Instagram worthy!
Toasted Coconut Cold Brew
Nariño 70 cold brew, toasted coconut, honey and finish with coconut milk this is a delicious treat. Of course I can’t have the sugars from the honey, and I ask for 3/4 water and 1/4 heavy whipping cream to substitute for the coconut milk.
The Nariño beans are slowly steeped in cool water, which relies on time instead of heat. This provides a super-smooth and naturally sweet cold brew coffee, yum!
Chai Tea Latte
Usually chai tea latte comes with chai syrup. Instead ask your Starbucks barista to use 2 chai brewed tea bags with 2 shots of heavy whipping cream and 2 pumps of sugar-free cinnamon dolce.
This way you will still enjoy your delicious chai tea latte iced or hot.
Enjoy your Americano with 3 parts water and 1 part heavy whipping cream with 2 pumps of sugar-free vanilla syrup.
Make your own version of keto caramel macchiato.
Cafe Misto with Almond Milk
Cafe Misto is a French cafe au lait. It is simply half brewed coffee and half steamed milk.
What’s the difference between the latte and misto?
Latte uses espresso where the misto uses regular coffee. So, if you aren’t favoring espresso, misto will be your BFF.
White Chocolate Mocha with Almond Milk
The drink favorite is made with espresso, milk and syrup flavored like white chocolate. I reduce the syrup to only 1 pump of the decadent white chocolate mocha sauce. I also replace the milk with 3/4 water and 1/4 heavy whipping cream instead of the milk.
Fun Fact: White chocolate comes from same cocoa plant as regular chocolate, but doesn’t have the same antioxidant benefits found in dark chocolate. That’s because the antioxidants are actually found in the cocoa itself and not in cocoa butter.
Starbucks Cafe Mocha is made with espresso, steamed milk and mocha syrup. The Cafe Mocha has higher levels of caffeine than any other espresso drinks at Starbucks because both the cocoa and coffee syrup are used.
This drink contains more carbs than some of the other choices, so therefore I consider it to be a sweet treat. Fat is my friend, I substitute 3/4 water and 1/4 heavy whipping cream for the milk. Because I’m generally after the richness from only the fat, I also reduce the syrup to only 1 pump of chocolate.
Iced Caramel Macchiato with Almond Milk
For your iced caramel macchiato, it is better to substitute with almond milk, because it has lower calories than regular milk. Almond milk has lots of protein, but does not contain calcium. Furthermore, almond milk is cholesterol free, has zero saturated fat, and is naturally lactose free.
Don’t forget to ask for the unsweetened almond milk for your caramel macchiato!
Of course this is the safest drink to have zero carbs from sugar. Americano is great drink for anyone who is serious about weight loss and detox body. It has great antioxidants, and burn both fat and calories 3 to 5 times quicker than a non-americano drinker.
Cappuccino is made with espresso and a deep layer of foamy steamed milk. It prevents headaches and also type 2 diabetes. Because I enjoy a richer coffee with less milk, I often choose cappuccino for my keto diet fat burning drinks at Starbucks to lose weight.
If you are big cappuccino fan, mark your calendar on November 8 to celebrate National Cappuccino Day!
