Ingredients

1 (3 oz / 85 g) box orange gelatin (Jell-O)

1 cup boiling water

1 (8 oz / 225 g) tub whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed

1 cup mandarin orange segments, drained well

1 cup mini marshmallows

½ cup cottage cheese or vanilla yogurt (optional, but traditional)
Instructions

Dissolve gelatin
In a bowl, dissolve orange gelatin in boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. -
Cool slightly
Let the gelatin cool to room temperature (do not let it set). -
Fold in creamy ingredients
Gently fold in whipped topping and cottage cheese (or yogurt) until smooth. -
Add mix-ins
Stir in drained mandarin oranges and mini marshmallows. -
Chill
Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until fluffy and set.
