Instructions

Brown the meat
In a skillet, cook ground meat with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat. -
Add to slow cooker
Transfer meat mixture to the slow cooker. Add cabbage, carrots, celery, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, and seasonings. -
Slow cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until vegetables are tender. -
Add rice
Stir in cooked rice during the last 30 minutes of cooking. -
Serve
