INGREDIENTS
2 cups walnuts – ground coarsely (can also substitute pecans, almonds)
1 egg
1-2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoon sweetener of choice (I used Stevia) – can use more or less to suit your taste
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
METHOD:
1. Grind walnuts in blender
2. In mixing bowl place walnuts, egg, cinnamon, sweetener and vanilla essence
3. Mix to combine thoroughly.
4. Roll into small balls and place on lined baking tray. Lightly press with fork. Top with chopped walnut (optional)
5. Bake in oven 180 C / 350 F for approx. 10 mins or until golden brown.
