Ingredients
1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup low-carb pizza sauce or marinara
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
4 oz sliced pepperoni
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brown the ground beef or sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
Add the mushrooms and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
Stir in the pizza sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the top and arrange the pepperoni slices over the cheese.
Add Parmesan if desired.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
