Ingredients
1 tbsp avacado oil
1 lb Jimmy Dean sage sausage
1/2 cup diced white onion
1 carrot (diced)
2 celery ribs (diced)
1 turnip (cubed)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
4 cups chicken stock
Curly Kale (chopped, stems removed; ~1 bunch)
4 oz cream cheese
1 cup heavy cream
salt and pepper
spring of thyme
dash or red pepper flakes
Brown the meat. Add onion, celery, carrot, garlic S&P, pepper flakes and sautee. Cover with chicken broth and simmer for 10 minutes. Add heavy cream kale and turnips, simmer until tender. Add cream cheese blend until melted.
